Mine basically went like...
"I apologize but my husband no longer wants me to have contact with you in any form. Please don't respond to this letter."
(Yes, it was a LONG time ago, so it was an actual letter...lol)
It's crazy to me that a person that you have had a relationship with, and maintained a friendship with (long distance) can switch off the friendship just like that...unless it it's insecurity of the spouse, and even with that...seems odd to me. Don't know if I could marry someone that could ask that of me, or expect it of me for that matter.
