So I was listening to one of my favorite De La Soul joints "Breakadawn" just now and towards the end the line "cause a squid is just a punk" was spit by some chick and it dawned on me that, for over 20 years of listening to this joint, I never knew who's voice that was...

I swear I remember a version of the video where she was actually seen bouncing around and got to mutter her half a bar on camera. I haven't been able to find anything on her nor have I been able to find the version of the video with her in it.

Her name is not anywhere on anything...
