Dude grew a church from 121 to 17K in a few short years using social media, rock music and a "come as you are" mantra

I moved to Charlotte and started seeing this logo that looked like a skateboard or snowboard company. Turns out it was a logo for Elevation.

This church is killing it. Techno music, satellite churches all around Charlotte. People with ball caps and tattoos in plain view, rock music and a Pastor who wears some tight ass jeans.

Sometimes the pastor will film his sermon the night before and you will have 500 to 1K people watching it on projector screens thinking it's live. Talk about a slick ass move.

Here is a great write up on how good and weird they are at marketing their church. They do a lot of good things around Charlotte but one has to wonder if they REALLY were about it how much more they could do while still making enough to fund their ministry.

Case One, you should read this... no snark. They have some GREAT ideas that more churches should use. I'm a fan of the date night idea.
