Word of Faith got HUGE by the end of the 90's. Keith Butler wound up on the Detroit city council making moves for his church.

I remember back in '96/97, my moms went to the church for some help with some bills 'cause, you know... she's been a member "in good faith" for over 10 years at that point. Them niggas had her jumping through all manner of hoops and shit and eventually turned her down on some bullshit.

All them years tithing, and she couldn't even get help with the fuckin light bill.




Now she's a minister...
