Christianity is predominantly about love. Loving yourself, and loving your neighbor. The reason why Christ was understood by children is because his message was simple. You don't need a bible to understand his message, all you need is a paragraph, at most.

Christianity does not require anyone to spread the word, or to go on a crusade. If you love yourself and your neighbors, your immediate world is filled with happiness and cooperation, and that is all that is needed from anyone to find the "glory of god" within themselves and in each other. Christ himself said the kingdom of god is within. Preachers, pastors, missionaries, are unnecessary and only obscure the message.

This dude seeking a jet is a clear example of a man who is not a Christian, but a wolf in sheep's clothing, hiding behind a gospel he himself does not understand or resonate with. It's a sham.
