The fact that this is not only ok with you, but worth defending says a lot.

You do realize that you have to pay (a lot) to use your own plane right? I'm sure 60m could be used to help a lot of people (like real life help...paying bills and shit like that) instead of using it to fly around just to talk to folks. If I were a preacher I would be pissed at this.

Worldwide ministry shouldn't require that you take from those less fortunate than you. End of story. Anyone that thinks otherwise gets major side eye from me.
