It's a shame that the cops got shot but that's a separate issue from holding police accountable for their treatment of unarmed people.

Protestors did not create a hostile atmosphere towards police.
Police handling of police brutality(fatality) cases on the other hand has definitely contributed. Without these mishandled cases, there would be nothing to protest about.

The shooter should be brought to justice.
But those who want to protest, still have the right to continue.
