Is this true only for American Black Men? I guess this is hard to answer since you're speaking only from your experience, but I wonder if the women are more approachable because Canadians are more polite than Americans. I've never been to Canada, but I asking based on the stereotype of Canadians being polite to the point of it being ridiculous.
