These kids haven't progressed at all, but are they representative
of American en-masse in terms of where we are in 2015 versus
1955? I don't think so.

in 1955 there would be absolutely no consequences to their actions.

There will *always* be racism, and there will always be people like this
keeping the regressive legacy of Jim Crow and the "South Will Rise
Again" alive - but they are a dying breed and dwindling in numbers -
and I think the national response to them is starting to tell the story
that this won't be tolerated. It should be a warning notice that if you
think like this: *we* (the successors of baby-boom governance and the
conquerors of Jim Crow) are coming for you.
