if more institutions handle racist events by ppl who are under their authority the way that OU and SAE handled this we might see fewer racist events. or at least we'll see less turmoil and protest and all of that in the wake of racist events b/c the public will have confidence that authority figures are going to handle the situation w/o being goaded into it.

as you know all of the drama and protest we saw in the wake of the recent events between white cops and unarmed black dudes happened b/c the authorities at issue didn't act against the perpetrators after the community had asked for action.
