Because while I hear influences from many great artists/places/eras, I don't have any one guy in mind who's put together all those influences, filtered it through his prism to come out on the other side with an album that's a lot like this......and that goes for rap or otherwise......and I say that as a pretty thorough music-listening-aficionado for the past three decades or so.
