I remember when I was young in Nigeria and we caught a swindler. My uncle already had him tied up and was prepping to tune him up when my father happened to come home and intervened. It ended up being that the boy was the son of a Colonel that he had recently treated at the hospital. Man that would have ended badly for us as well. Nigeria was still a military dictatorship back then. You can do anything to anybody...as long as that somebody is a nobody.
