A girl I used to date was on a double date with my homey, his girlfriend and my homey's uncle (only a few years older). Said she started ordering all this expensive stuff from *that* side of the menu and he got pissed just watching it. Came to me like "I see why you don't mess with her any more"

Never had it happen to me, but honestly I don't take women out on dates that I haven't adequately phone-screened first.
