I mean that genuinely. I like 1 song by Destiny's Child ("Say My Name", what can I say, it's a nice catchy pop song) and after that I wouldn't listen to Beyonce sing unless she was giving me the Marilyn Monroe birthday special.

However, just because I don't like her music, that doesn't mean I find it necessary to go out of my way to denigrate her career. It just feels like those losers ranting about Justin Beiber on youtube. Unless you're an 11 year old girl, why would you waste energy on that either way?

Beyonce isn't making music for Kid Rock, his key demo, or to make revolutionary, thought provoking songs that push the sonic boundary. She's making pop music for a diverse group of women and, let's be honest, gay men. If you're expecting more than that from her you are either unfamiliar with her career to date, or you're just being an asshole.

It would be like me getting mad at U2 for never making a good jazz song.
