You shoulda just sat there and laughed at her and maybe told her how silly she was being. Stupid people hate it when you laugh at them or point out their stupidity. If you wanted to really troll you coulda recorded her backing out.
Really my best passive aggressive strategy is to find some kind of way that people like that realize that you don't take them seriously in any kinda way.
