I was looking at the reaction to those un-retouched Beyonce photos and I'm thinking that people aren't really understanding how bad makeup can make you look worse than no makeup at all.

In my opinion, L'Oreal is pretty bad makeup - their foundation is like $10: it creases like no one's business, leaves your pores hella exposed and doesn't blend well. Normally, I spend around $40 on really good foundation. I'm sure Beyonce doesn't wear L'oreal on a regular basis but they probably put her in it for that particular photoshoot. As someone brought up in that post, even when TMZ and random photographers catch Beyonce off-guard, her skin doesn't look like that on a regular basis.

The $20 foundation isn't as cheap as L'oreal but you can still see that my skin looks worse than when I'm wearing no makeup at all. All bumpy, poor coverage, my forehead is super-creased up.
