12726753, 'testing' people's principles with the dropped-money test?

when meeting someone new, and for whatever reason you're on the fence about the 'type' of person they are, how likely are you to put it to the test by 'accidentally' dropping a $20 bill and seeing if they give it back to you.

i got a buddy who is a contractor. he hires and fires his crew based on the $20 test.

he accidentally drops the bill, walks by and back around. if the guy(s) doesn't get his attention, and try to return it - he fires the guy the following week.

he's fired three people with this test. two black on mexican.

i thought the shit was genius and could be applied to so many things people and situations.

what do you think of his behavior? is it a set-up?

are his morals fucked up for testing people like this?

im still on the fence. what do you think?
