Only reason I remember is cause of ur profession and it helped reinforce my beliefs about how useless music critics are

music is a personal experience and the opinion of a critic has virtually no value for the rest of the population

its much more subjective and it is difficult to get much of a consensus of critical opinion on a musical album because it is experienced differently by everyone

music is made to be experienced again and again and our feelings change with time

Some artists speak to us immediately and some grow on us

Some sound great on the first listen before we get sick of them and many never connect with us at all.

Each person has a unique journey with each artist/song

Add on the personal bias the critic may have (I just happened to be privy to yours)
