12723435, School Me a Bit on Montreal
Posted by DVS, Tue Feb-10-15 12:49 PM
So....the Boy is coming out of High School this Spring.

I promised I'd come up and kidnap him and take him on a "Men Only" road trip.

He wants to go to Maui (so do I but that's 1800 just to GET there)
I want to go to New Oreleans (he would too if he was 21)

So we are compromising on Montreal....he gets to leave the country...I get to practice my French skills....win win.

Thinking about Mid June....pricing the trip and I'll probably just fly in and rent a car for the duration....

I just need to know what to do....what to avoid...how not to look douchebag touristy....what would be dope for a 18 year old, etc.

Put Me D

It's not just cold, it's stupid fucking cold. I left Boston on an 8 degree day to go to Montreal and was shocked at how much colder Montreal was. For example, the expected high temperatures in Chicago will be 21 on Sat and 23 on Sun. On those same days, Montreal will have HIGH temps of 4 and 5 degrees.
12723991, In June tho? nm

If I come in I'll be flying. The drive from VA is 11 hours (doable) but the flight will actually drop me AND the boy off at home (different states) for the same price so......**Jason Terry Sign**

Been there a bunch of times, I don't ever remember driving anywhere.

Had some real good sandwiches at this place:

I've been to Montreal quite a few times, but not in awhile. Last time was probably around '04.

I always stayed here:
