Part of kanye's problem is that you aren't even
allowed to call yourself smart, or consider yourself smart
unless you ACHEIVE something that everybody recognizes as a work of genius.


what ppl miss is that being intelligent is more than
being good at music or writing or whatever.

High intelligence also gives you an internal world that is different
than most other ppl. And it is different before you accomplish a damn thing.

Your reactions to your environment will be different.
You'll notice (and probably be irritated by) shit
most ppl don't even notice.

And if you don't learn a very particular way of
expressing yourself... everybody will think you are a jerk.

Even before the major fame, Kanye has talked crazy, but I think he honed it into his schtick and is now just over the top.
I don't think it is his "misunderstood genius" that makes him act out in public; if that's the case......you can put Dennis Rodman/Courtney Love/etc. in the same category. Kanye acts up because it brings more attention to his brand. Dude is doing other things besides music and trying to push and sell those products as well. Unless he says something racist, homophobic, anti semetic, or sexist.......then there is really no bad press for a celebrity.

With that being said......I do think he is on that cocaine (or some type of drug). I mean, he is rich and famous, so it's a given. I know it is wrong for me to think that.....but I just do. I feel most rich/celebs are on that blow; some can just handle it better than others.

So to sum it up, it's an act but that cocaine (or whatever drug) is making him seem a little off, even for Kanye. No proof, just the vibe I am getting.

That dude went from a rapper to a household name overnight. He damn sure helped Swift get sympathy points. Shit was on the news for 2 weeks and everyone acted like Ye slapped her and stole her award.

She was already a huge success. She would've been without Kanye's shenanigans.

Beck was already a star and wouldve been in the news bc he'd just won the Grammy for album of the year - allegedly upsetting Yonce, who many cynically expected to win the award. That story was going to have him in the news without Kanye's shenanigans.
