I've heard such mixed evaluations of it over the years.

And everyone got nostalgic and said they wanted to watch one of his old movies. I said Coming to America, but no, everyone wanted to watch Beverley Hills Cop.

I mean, I still watched and it was funny, but I was hard to see Coming to America so roundly rejected.

I know I stayed away from the movie for a long time because I wasn't a fan of his. Not sure who would have been a better lead at the time. Was Chris Tucker working at the time?

But yeah when I finally got to around to watching it I was dying. It deserved a sequel.
