Like others have said...U guys are trying to connect dots with 1 interview he did with a song in which he is actually playing the role of a gangbanger in the last verse...

I'm going to say that some folks are either failing to see that point or they are being disingenuous.....

And (as others have astutely noted) artists like Curtis Mayfield, PE, and dead prez have pretty much said the same shit Lamar is saying in Blacker The Berry....

If u r still rolling your eyes over what Lamar said in that interview that's fair game....

But the new song is a lot more conceptual and nuanced than that one interview sound bite.....
