So I may be taking a trip that lays over in Moscow. I'm strongly considering spending a day there. Anything I need to worry about?

mostly because all the people working in the airport (you can tell the predominant minority groups in cities by the airport workers) are those Asian looking Russians from all the Stans and Siberia and whatnot.

Whenever I pop into Google Flights prices looking at other trips Moscow would always pop up dirt cheap. Enough that some of the deals to Europe would have you popping into Russia, then back into Europe (shit would take DAYS tho).
Years ago I was hanging with a musician in Paris who had a Russian girlfriend and he would talk about the weird static they would get there(mainly according to him in big cities, the smaller towns, funny enough, were cool).
But I know people who've gone and loved it.
