Him or Justin Timberlake, I feel like they just got into MJJ lane (Maybe even a little Bobby Brown) and ran with it.

I feel like Bobby B was definitely not in the lane of MJJ or Prince and carved his own thing which has become a lane in itself that others have followed.

I actually think there are only four lanes in Male R&B: MJJ (Usher and Timberlake), Prince (Miguel), Bobby Brown (Chris Brown, some Usher) and R Kelly (Trey Songs)
