yes, i spell it championship, but really say championchip. and definitely say won the chip.

i have thought about that, like sowhat, but didn't ponder it too deeply. i chalked it up to CHampionshIP, and also because it's usually pronounced championchip. not necessarily a real hard CH, more of a "sch" sound. i dunno.
