I agree, a legally owned gun and a stack of cash could be plausibly explained.

But the # of weed is a distribution charge by itself, even if he only intended to share it with friends.

The gun and the cash make it look more sinister than it might've been and increased the potential blowback.

And I hope they'd be getting charged as well. We sometimes don't get the benefit of the doubt that others get, but this is one of those instances where I'd hope others would be treated as harshly.
