It's his choice, not mine. Where did I say what he's doing makes sense to me? I said it's important to him to do what he's doing, and he's prepared to wear the consequences. That's enough for me. But, while I'm at it, I admire what he appears to be trying to do for his community.
Meanwhile, you can stew in your indignation, Lynch will keep cooking happily.
