So for the past week I've been suffering from having a big dick. All the time. It won't go down. It's not a full hard-on but its tumescent all the time. It's weird. For about 5 days I've had a tingling, burning sensation some of the time. And all the time when I urinate. And i'm having to urinate a lot.

I had unprotected sex a week ago so the time line fits with picking it up from a girl.

The doctor thinks its likely a bacteria infection so i'm taking various medicine including doxycycline which is an antibiotic. I'm not particularly knowledgable on medical matters.

I'm fit and healthy otherwise, the burning in my urethra isn't causing any other medical complaints.

Can anyone help me? and tell me whether this is likely a yeast infection (my guess) or something else. I doubt its a STI because the symptoms appears very rapidly after the unprotected sex.

you can go to the local drug store and buy some UTI treatment (it only makes the pain associated with urination go away. Be warned, it turns your pee a bright ass orange). it's usually in the women's aisle with the yeast stuff.

You can try the methods above, but if it doesn't go away you need an antibiotic. But for IMMEDIATE relief just go get the over counter medication.

one thing about that is, if you do have a UTI and you use the pills for pain, when you go see a doctor it will interfere with their testing...so hopefully you go to one that will trust you when you say you have a UTI.
