that I am the biggest DeVante (male) stan around. you might wanna trace upwards a few posts and reread what i typed in the posts above with a clear mind and less animosity.

and for the record, I get decline especially when it comes to physical attributes and talent...but the rate by which (granted fueled by drugs and alcohol) was tremendous for KCi and Jo-Jo. With that said, The OJay's sound better in 2015 than they did in 1975 (granted their songs haven't but their overall sound is unmatched by a male group (that still has it's original members).

Even the shitty 'Domestic abuse is wrong!' hamfisted one they released with BOB late last year had some surprisingly solid old Jodeci touches.

It's not their 90's peak, but even if they weren't all drugged up, to expect em to hit the ground running 20+ years later is a fools dream.

The new songs went from me planning on actively ignoring them like I have KiCi and Jojo's career to optimistic. The new song could easily be on one of their old albums (probably on the filler side, but still)
