UNLESS he put them out the window, as he did. sitting in the car, from that angle, cop can say ANYTHING, and his word is law, b/c it is him and his partner's testimony vs. that of the deceased and the driver, who had an ex juvenile felon cop shooter as a passenger in the whip.

>he was clearly told to not move or he was getting shot...

you haven't seen the video where the cop yells at the dude to get his driver's license and then shoots him six times when he reaches for his driver's license?

you haven't seen the numerous (now) videos of cops yelling STOP RESISTING when they are choking or beating passive and compliant victims (because the 'Stop Resisting' is picked up on the mics and becomes part of the story?)

>so the guy jumps up out the car?

sudden moves are not good. don't know his thought process. but lets not pretend that sitting in the car results in him living. this cop was aggy and escalated the situation. dude was trying to respond calmly and put himself in the position (or so it seemed from the audio and video) that he felt would protect his life.

cop asked him for license and registration.

"there's a gun in the glove compartment, officer" <--- only works for white ppl.

*doesn't tell them there's a gun in the glove compartment*

cop: "OH SHIT! THERE'S A GUN IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT!!!

the cop was safe in reaching into the car and into the glove compartment to remove the gun. if dude was gonna shoot him, why not then?

he could have pulled his flashlight and shone it into the car to better see what was up w/ dude's hands while still training the gun on him if that was his true objective. like his partner was doing on the other side.

his partner could have cuffed dude who had his hands out the window and put him on the ground and opened the door so he had the passenger in his line of fire if a stalemate continued. and then he could have gone over and assisted in dragging the other dude out of the car (or did they want him IN the car?)

and backup arrived shortly after the bullets. the other squad car could have ensured nothing jumped off.

>wtf?

what happened was the shooting cop knew EXACTLY who was in the car and that dude had a past that included bucking at a cop, and had had a run in before, and, apparently, decided he was gonna take him off the streets.

peace & blessings,
