You always hear about female circumcision in Africa and the Middle East being such a horrific thing (which it is).
But why is snipping off skin from a little boy's penis treated as almost completely normal?
I don't think it can be justified for health concerns in these modern times. Most of the time it is done for religious purposes or for appearances.
How come this continues to be an accepted part of our cultures?
