One of my friends from school beeped me that day(i ain't never get beeps and he beeps me that day) and my mom thought it was for a sale lolz. She made me call him back while she listened on the other line. My boy saying all type of cusses, and 'that wasnt what your momma said last night' jokes. Then he proceeded to talk about how he was tryna smash this girl but she was fronting. I abruptly told him i had to go lol.

I remember the next day he thought i was hating on him until i told him my parents were listening on the other line.

My dad is a conspiracy theorist so he thought everything my boy said was some sort of drug related code.

Dont know what made me think about that today. Oh yeah i do, the whooping post.

Because she found some TUBES of paint that belonged to my girlfriend.

when I got home, the odd time, she would punch me in the face if she knew I was smoking cigarettes.

I remember when I got older she eased up a bit and found some weed I had in my pockets. She took it away. I asked her about it and she said it was gone, I told her I'm going to a party and that I didn't want to drink and she gave me my weed back. Hahaha

Recently we spoke about growing our own to make cannabis oil after she read about all the positive health effects of using it as a topical solution.

I used to bring home marijuana banana bread loaves as well and explicitly telling my church going father not to eat it and asking my mother to warn him. I used to love waking up and juicing fresh kale and broccoli, would fill me with a lot of good energy, and then I would have just enough of the loaf to feel. Was very euphoric and relaxing. The subtle high is much better than the baked out of your mind high.

My Mom used to look at my eyes and SWEAR I smoked weed. (Not until 19ish actually). Every day after school she'd grab me up and look at my eyes like "What you been doin?"

By the time I started smoking she was so used to my eyes being effed up that she would just tell me to rest because I looked tired.

Life is hilarious.
