People are happy because it's possible to order pizza from their smartwatch.

Let's go over what's available:

Eyewear
Watches
Fitness trackers

Out of that all I see is a passive use for eyewear. Everyone is overestimating this alleged market for smartwatches. These devices are new ways to stunt for the next generation.
