Consider my conditioning conditioned... What actually spawned it was an email I received from Patagonia this morning talking about the two climbers that made it to the top of the Dawn Wall in Dawn Wall in Yosemite Valley... Throughout the blog, they kept referring to them as partners....and it wasn't until the end that I understood they simply meant climbing partners....not a couple.
I dunno... Funny how certain terminology has been skewed towards gaycentric so much so....
