i hold a very deep and heavy embarrassment about my first uber ride.

i was so fucking excited about the whole thing, at the end of the ride, i tipped the driver cash.

that was abooout 3 months ago.

i wouldn't dare do no bamma shit like that again.

what was i thinking?

it reminded me a time many lovers ago, when me and my partner were buying pizza.

we didn't get delivery, we went to go pick it up from ledos.

we at the counter, and my old lady is paying for the pizza.

i noticed that she gleefully filled out the tip portion and i immediately thought to myself 'what the fuck you doing that for, we picking it up'.

i said something, and probably soured the whole moment. but that shit threw me for a loop.

i couldn't wrap my mind around her wanting to tip this lousy nigga behind the counter.

just couldn't get it.

but in retrospect, i think she was so excited about the food, and paying, the whole thing that she couldn't help but tip like an idiot.

have you ever given a tip, and in retrospect though - why the hell did i do that (much)?

is it true the more money you have, the less tip you usually leave?.

and the poorer you are, the more inclined you are to tip (more)?

i think that's fascinating.
