we kinda tried to date, but we didn't live in the same town. still communicated regularly though. at the time there wasn't anyone else i was messin' with either, and my roommate (who btw is an old friend and we're still close) knew i wasn't out there doin' dirt. i think me and homegirl probably felt more pressure to try and date because of him, though, but whatever.

also, this wasn't going on forever. not even a year.
