If a good friend wants to date one of my relatives and said relative agrees, then that is on them regardless of his intentions. Of course I would not want my friend to dog out a relative, but it would also be unfair to assume that my friend would dog out a relative just because he did it to other people. He may decide to act right with my relative.
Now, if I knew that my friend had bad intentions with a relative, then I may warn the relative although It is ultimately her choice to pursue the relationship. I generally stay out of my relatives romantic business. Sometimes, people have to learn lessons the hard way, relatives being no exception. The only time I will get involved is if I witness an act of violence against a relative. Other than that, I mind my own business.
