either way, people been fuckin' their cousins since the beginning of time, so i'm not so sure this is a good indicator of the rapture nearing. sure, it is highly inappropriate and i'm in no way condoning the behavior, but it's been going on for thousands and thousands of years.

That was at a time when human beings knew nothing of the dangers of sleeping with ppl from the same gene pool as them - we all know of the risk now, so for Gates to not have a problem with it is disturbing. And besides, incest was pervasive amongst Europeans, historically it hasn't been common behavior amongst non-white ppl.
And just because this isn't an "original sin" doesn't mean it's not an indication of how perilous the times we live in are.
