Work was slow, and my college friend was in town from San Francisco, so I met him for dinner in Chelsea at 7pm. I'd promised myself that I would be in bed by 11:30, but because I wanted to show him a good time before he left, I figured that 2 post-dinner drinks in Hell's Kitchen wouldn't hurt. That turned into dancing and a drag show at a spot a few blocks away. I ended up getting home at a vulgar hour, all in the name of being a good host.

When I finally laid down and looked at the clock, all I could think was, "Why is my life like this?" lol :-(
