i had kidney stones and at that point i stopped drinking liquor and later cut out beer, too.

it's just taxing, staying hydrated and focused becomes harder and i was still young (late 20s) when I stopped. i was just a social drinker then it became maybe once or twice a year to where now i just never have any.

i never had any related complications but it's crazy that i know a few people who did at that age. they were all heavy drinkers but damn, to be like 28 with gout or some sort of heart issue, that's brutal.
