This is my 3rd project, 1st album and I am very excited for you all to hear! OKP's own Mr. ManC produced track #4 "The Groove". As always, feedback is highly encouraged. If any of you review albums or know of someone who does, let me know! If any of you have any internet radio stations or podcasts that you would like to play one of my songs on, let me know! And if you know ANYONE looking for an artist to manage, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! If you like it, bump it, buy it, share it! Any questions, comments, favorite song(s) & otherwise; let's post about it!

12688770, strong effort...

..after listening to the album 3 times (played through studio monitors, basic radio, & earpods), i can honestly say that its a strong effort all around.

however, the main issue i have is the overall mix. the production ideas were sound, but they suffer in delivery because the mix isn't balanced/dynamic enough. i like the fact that you steered clear of the typical overdubs & tracking for your vocals, but a tad-bit of enhancement (mostly the accents to your leads) would help as well.

the subs, drums, snares, and some synths (esp the levels on "nigga season") aren't where they need to be in the mix.

shore up the mix and this album goes from average to notable, and certainly an artist to check for.

*highlights:

laurence fishburne
the chase
game goofy

this is one helluva batting order. again, if the mix is right, these 3 songs are as impressive as anything else released in the past year. "the chase" has such a rich piano intro & lead that it damn-near demands an audience. you can't let this go down without a fight, man. PLEASE re-mix/master this album and give these songs their due diligence.

other standout(s):

hard work - nice groove, solid delivery.

congrats on the latest release. keep grindin'.

getting a professional mix is important. can't stress that enough...you want to be radio, television, soundtrack, PUBLISHING..basically, across the board ready at all times.
12688890, Thanks for that

she gets her stuff on tv ALL the time. she's not a signed artist. Her stuff has been on the tv show 'dance moms'.

i asked her how other indie artists can get their music on tv with or without a publishing contract...she said, most importantly make sure it's quality sound across the board. you don't have to break the bank to find someone professional to do it for you but, find someone who will do it right.
12688882, Man, I appreciate you listening!
