Thinking of using Slack or Evernote. Anyone have any experience using either?

The plugins are many, it's real-time, the integration is deep, and it's free if you don't require extensive, searchable history.

I highly recommend any team give it a shot.
12688441, Evernote is mad confusing

A lot of their menus lead u to all these other windows...its just a lot of stuff going on. Is it Google owned? The UI makes it feel that way. The online version and the mobile look slick better than the computer app but its just mad confusing to use

I feel like all Slack is missing is a task/to-do-list manager and thats it

Works out well for me.
So many other services, too.

... and I was gonna raise my hand like "yeah, I use Slack 14 myself and I'm planning on deploying Slack 14.1 pretty soon".

... but, alas, you're talmbout some messaging shit.

But I'm not even gonna lie since I thought Mandrake was going to take over the world 15 years ago.
12688447, I was a faithful Mandrake user until about 2009

Granted, I always kept a Debian and Slack install around, but my main Linux machine was Mandrake/Mandrivia until about 2009. I did install 2011, but the "magic" was gone.

... I should prolly stand up 2011 in a VM just for grins and giggles.
