I hate that question. Why? Because if my answer is anything other than "it was good, how was yours?" do you really care?

not that mine was bad, but if it was, would you really want to hear about it at the moment you are asking someone that question?

i just hate canned, expected and cliched conversations in general. aka small talk. it's just fake

i'd prefer a more specific question if one is to be asked at all...ask if i was able to get some rest over the holiday break..or ask if i got to see my family

that's my rant.
