12685392, iPhone 6 (16GB) vs Samsung G5
Posted by deejboram, Wed Dec-31-69 07:00 PM
I'm rocking the Samsung Galaxy 3 right now.
Screen just cracked so I need to upgrade.
I'm on T-Mobile.

With my G3 now I only use a 2GB sdCard and it fills up every other month with pics/videos.
Should I go with the 16GB or 64GB iPhone?

Any performance pros/cons between the two devices?

I can get the G5 for $21 a month or the iPhone for $27 a month

back in 09 i copped one right before the sprint store closed at 9pm
returned that shit soon as store opened next day and went back to my blackberry
i couldnt get down with the touchscreen

two years ago i was forced out of my blackberry and had to cop this Galaxy G3

i'm used to the glassscreen now as far as texting/email

i've had zero problems/issues with my G3
only the screen cracked cause i dropped it a thousand times

i like that i can swap batteris between my work issued G3 and my personal G3 when im out and about and in a pinch
12685423, I'd stick to the Galaxy then

you cant switch batteries on an iphone and from what I know you cant text and talk at the same time..

also the samsung screen will hold up if you drop it every now and then the iphone glass is so thin that if you drop it its gonna be cracked...

I talked to people who dropped they phones on carpet!!! and cracked the screen...

and the android phone will let you do a lot more than the IOS because they restrict a lot of apps..
12685422, you'll love the s5 coming from an s3

firstly, the battery life on the s5 is fucking mind-blowing compared to earlier gens

the s5 has a micro sd slot for expandable storage and migrating most of your data should be pretty easy coming from the s3

and you can control all the tv's / set-top boxes in your home - the watchnow app is pretty dope

& shit work like a dream with this chromecast

couldn't really tell ya much about the 6, tbh

good luck

12685427, Hold off a few months and get a GS6

Next Galaxy S device will have a metal build, faster processor, better screen. All you have to do is endure a couple months of crapphone.

get my screen fixed on my G3
and ride it out for up to a year until that nunu galaxy drops
12685431, By now you know if you're a droid guy or an apple guy.
Posted by SoWhat, Sun Dec-28-14 10:44 AM
There's no real debate on it for most of us. It's weird. Like I know I am not a droid guy - I have never liked any non-apple smartphone. I don't even bother with them with any seriousness. They're not for me.
12685565, If I was in the market right now I'd go with the new moto x.

Or possibly the nexus 6, but I'm not into the phablet thing.

Galaxy 5 is getting a little outdated, I think. (I'm not entirely up on the specs off the top of my head though.)

thanks
but all i need is a PHONE
that can make calls, send texts/emails easily, and takes decent pics/videos

the recent upgrade in sfotware on the android came with a shitty camera that never takes clear pics
