I'm trying to get out of a town for a bit. Is anyone down to celebrate New Year's in another place including but not limited to Hawaii?

Houston doesn't strike me a stranger friendly place. Keep in mind when I come to a city, I don't know anyone there. In other words, I wouldn't have a clue where to stay, what to do, and where to go. Are cops trigger happy out there? I'm mad killable in person too so there's that.
