12685059, LOL don't they keep systems in the back tho?
Posted by SHAstayhighalways, Fri Dec-26-14 09:08 PM
sounds like an inside job lolol
12684660, Even the zip ties can be a bastard to undo.
Posted by The Wordsmith, Fri Dec-26-14 01:32 AM
The companies had the zip ties so tight, I was fighting to cut them. I understand they don't want any ol' doofus finagling the contents within the packaging but I shouldn't need security clearance just to obtain the device I legitimately own.

Since 1976

Posted by PoppaGeorge, Fri Dec-26-14 09:27 PM
>these weren't even expensive ass toys.

it seems like the cheaper the toys, the more screws and twist ties there are.

12685098, I hate that hard-ass plastic packaging that shit comes in nowadays!
Posted by homer_pimpson225, Sat Dec-27-14 12:50 AM
First, you need a pair of aviation snips or a damn sawzall to cut the shit open. Then once you cut into it, it creates these jagged edges and sharp points that cut and stab yo ass up.

That's too much gatdamn headache to be goin through to get at a pair of light bulbs!
12685143, first thing i thought about when i saw this reply:

curse the person who buys your 4 year old lego sets that are for 9+ or whatever. he can't put that shit together, so guess who gets to do it!?!?!

12685146, lmao
Posted by SHAstayhighalways, Sat Dec-27-14 10:35 AM
my son just came to me with some little ass blocks.
they're really nice but i'm about to put most of them away until he's old enough to
really understand it.
they're wooden blocks but they're really small (in comparison to blocks made for toddlers)
so you have to have some kinda concept of 'engineering' & coordination that he just doesn't have yet lol
12685150, Use a handheld can opener. Works for me.
