when's your next trip to JA? when can i start claiming it as my 2nd home? i've been 5 times now. soon, right?
12684291, is he talking yet?

this little n-word doesn't STOP talking
he's FULL of opinions and has no problem telling you
the only time he stops talking is when he first meets ppl. he tries to play like he's shy but he ain't. i know you've seen them pics on IG. sometimes i record him doing crazy shit and i'm so sad IG has the 15 sec limit. he cray cray

HA, it won't be for some time. this last trip was a bit stressful so i'm going to chill out on JA. plus family is acting up and i'd rather not be around them. my family got issues and love drama. i do not, lol

i think my next trip will be domestic. maybe the bay or portland.
12684297, he looks like a hilarious kid :)
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:28 PM
i've never been south of DC. I really want to check out the west coast. one day.
12684323, i haven't seen much of the west either
Posted by GirlChild, Wed Dec-24-14 10:04 PM
all my traveling has been strictly socal and one trip to SF

i'd love to see portland and seattle tho
12684289, sounds like my kinda party...

..i don't celebrate holidays.

not a grinch, just not much for the fuss.

i cook, clean, watch a few games/movies/etc.

might even get a lil' work done if i feel motivated.

still, even those that know me like to ask "..so what're you doin' for ____?.."

the answer is always the same: chillin'.

12684290, nothin' wrong with that...
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:13 PM
our holidays are so exhausting. i'd opt out, too, if i could.

does your fam live in the NYC area?
12684299, fam all over the world...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-24-14 09:30 PM
..one brother lives near me, the rest are all over the place.

my parents are still in the midwest, though. sometimes i forget just how large my fam is.

since so many people gather/travel for holidays, i use these times to truly indulge in solitude.

*what are you listenin' to?

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12684301, nothing..watching tv. terrible tv at that.

so yo

are there just literally no cheap hotels in new york, or am i just not looking in the right places?

even stuff in BK is stupid expensive. por que?
12684303, what do you consider a bargain?..
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-24-14 09:40 PM
..there are plenty of options, if you know when & where to look.

granted, nyc is generally expensive, but there are plenty of ways to cut down on cost.

first step: the details

when you're traveling and what you need while you're here (amenities, location, access, commuting, etc.).

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12684314, i don't really have a trip in mind
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:54 PM
but there were a few times this yr when i wanted to come and couldn't find anything less than $200/night. which is just too much for a lil weekend jaunt.

a bargain? hmm..less than 150/night?
12684330, widen the spectrum...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-24-14 10:10 PM
..unless you plan ahead, nyc is always expensive.

you can find cheap hotels (holiday inn ex, best western, etc.) within your given margin, but at that rate you'll likely find a better bargain through airbnb.

you can still find great deals on nice hotels, but you need to plan ahead for that.

*how often do you travel outside of your country?

12684293, How'd you get talked into a Christmas party?
Posted by Monkey Genius, Wed Dec-24-14 09:22 PM
12684294, i didn't really need to be talked into it
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:24 PM
and two friends asked if i wanted to drop by and i said yes :)

are you not big on it?
12684300, Nah, I just remember you being adamant on the subject on FB.
Posted by Monkey Genius, Wed Dec-24-14 09:34 PM
I figured Christmas shit wasn't really on the list of things you'd be worried bout this week.
12684302, well, that rant was more about people forcing me to celebrate
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:37 PM
it the way they do & attach emotions to the day...

but i'm happy to share in someone else's culture....
12684311, Seen.
Posted by Monkey Genius, Wed Dec-24-14 09:52 PM
I'd be like fuck it all, but you're obviously a less stubborn person.
12684305, have fun with the dinner.
Posted by tariqhu, Wed Dec-24-14 09:42 PM
culture should be shared, to a degree.
12684306, thanks :)
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:43 PM
what are your christmas plans (if you celebrate)?
12684308, not sure its considered celebrating.
Posted by tariqhu, Wed Dec-24-14 09:47 PM
I just buy shit for the household..............and myself.

so we'll open up toys and watch the smiles on the little folks.
afterwards, they're going to my wife's aunt's place.
and I'll be alone to watch basketball.

12684313, i'm getting a lil tipsy..so pathetic
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:53 PM
i dunno what happened to my tolerance but it's gone. completely gone.
12684316, mine isn't low but it's defintely much lower
Posted by makaveli, Wed Dec-24-14 09:56 PM
when I was in my prime my tolerance was pretty ridiculous. have fun at your Christmas dinners.
12684318, this aging thing is a trip
Posted by nayaa, Wed Dec-24-14 09:58 PM
