I hate hate hate most "accidental" deaths in movies. She Got Game, Labor Day, a couple I can't remember.

I feel like its a cheat to make a character who is a murderer not really responsible for his actions.

It's a weird personal quirk but it's a reason I was let down by Gracepoint.

I think it would have been more interesting if the father (or the son) was more directly responsible for the murder.

Also didn't like how it came very much out of nowhere the husbands involvement. I feel like you have to lay some clues before dropping something so out of leftfield.
