to straddle the edge like that
we be on the couch and i hold her legs and let her dangle like she is superman
her momma said dont do that because she will think she can do it on her own but im hardheaded

now she jumps off the couch headfirst like she is superman

that dont hurt cause it is only 18 inches to the floor and i usually have a pillow or blanket there to lessen the blow

but our bed is like one of them granma beds where you have to step up into it so it might be a 3 feet fall to the ground

she's been eyeing this leap for weeks now
never jumped
but yesterday
she grabbed a play block from the middle of the bed
turned to sit on her bottom them just sliiiiiiiiiid right off the edge of the bed

nah.
i blame the foam mattress not giving enough support on the edges and the silky material of the duvet cover
