The finale...
12682609, I guess I won't give any spoilers, except for...

I felt the same way as watching this GIF https://33.media.tumblr.com/a8bcc3a34dd058c04944d33fa142bea3/tumblr_ncjilfDJCg1r9xcpmo1_400.gif

12682715, how much u get paid 4 that picture, homeboy
Posted by Riot, Mon Dec-22-14 05:38 PM
12683071, I didn't sell it.
Posted by Cam, Tue Dec-23-14 10:56 AM
My dad is a retired AP Photographer, having witnessed all the new stock agencies undercut & underpay pros, using lesser quality amature photos as leverage, the way it changed the industry was groundbreaking--but also more difficult for journalists to earn a viable living. So, maybe foolishly, but out of solidarity with underpaid photojournalists everywhere, I didn't sell it to any of the agencies.
Instead, I gave it away to ABC News and Univision--for free, but just for the initial story and not for print use.
I now have the screen shots with a visible credit and news logo, adding to my NYPD Press Credential eligibility. Which I'll apply to, so I can get my "Lou Bloom - Video Production News, a professional news-gathering service" on.

12683671, how much were they willing to pay 4 that pic, homeboy

12684085, One said $1K, another said $100
Posted by Cam, Wed Dec-24-14 02:10 PM
So who knows.
It would have probably been closer to $0.
12683157, i made a post about the series but no one responded (spoilers)
Posted by Cenario, Tue Dec-23-14 11:32 AM
i dig the show alot...not sure how i felt about the ending. I wasn't exactly rooting for their relationship to be a success. I don't think most viewers do.

Lol @ Alison's version of events for when noah came to pick up his daughter tho.
12683297, Right
Posted by Cam, Tue Dec-23-14 12:29 PM
I really liked the way the story was presented. But the finale was totally unsatisfying.

Did you notice how as the episodes progressed, their versions began to diverge into completely different stories? Alison's version vs. Noah's version of the daughter retrieval had zero similarities.
12683381, yup in the beginning, you could piece together the truth that lied in between
Posted by Cenario, Tue Dec-23-14 01:22 PM
their versions.

Now you need a 3rd version to understand what really happened.

12683706, Bill Simmons was talking about it on a Grantland podcast
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Tue Dec-23-14 08:51 PM
on how it was so bad it was good and he would watch with his wife every week
12684139, yeah, i'm not watching g it with wifey.
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-24-14 03:26 PM
I feel like i'm cheating cause I watch it behind her back or when she sleeping lol
12684093, I've watched ep 1, 3, and some of 4
Posted by quadrush, Wed Dec-24-14 02:21 PM
(couldn't find and ep 2 that I could stream to the BluRay player) but so far, it hasn't grabbed me. I'm still waiting since people say it's so good but so far, mehh.
12947365, season 2 over...ya'll still watching?
Posted by Cenario, Tue Dec-22-15 03:13 PM
12947375, The finale was satisfying
Posted by Cam, Tue Dec-22-15 03:25 PM
I'm excited for Shameless to come back.
12947406, yeah i'm glad they answered everything. That 'cliffhanger' wasn't real
Posted by Cenario, Tue Dec-22-15 03:55 PM
suspenseful either. His lawyer will probably talk him out of it and the trial'll continue.
12947403, not sure where most people expected this show to go...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Tue Dec-22-15 03:51 PM
..esp since every character on the show is an asshole.

the series is entertaining though.

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12947405, yup everyone is unlikeable except cole's girl.
Posted by Cenario, Tue Dec-22-15 03:54 PM
i've never seen anything like it...yet i want to watch every week.

12947409, she has her moments...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Tue Dec-22-15 03:57 PM
..she's not on the same level as the rest of the cast, but she's definitely an asshole.

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12947752, she's not involved enough. Plus she's bad.
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 11:01 AM
i actually can't think of one negative thing about her in the moment.
12947770, luisa upgrading from scott to cole isn't exactly positive...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-23-15 11:14 AM
..lol.

granted, no one can really blame her. still, she's doing anything she can to get ahead (just like everyone else).

like i said, the entire cast is made up of assholes.

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12947802, as a man that has messed with siblings, i see nothing wrong with that lol
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 11:39 AM
besides it didn't appear to me that she went after him either, it just happened.

And why do you say she was trying to get ahead instead of just falling in love with the dude?
12947968, i'm not judging...
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-23-15 01:45 PM
..which is why i said it wasn't exactly positive (lol).

if anything, the way she went about it was tacky. i'm pretty sure the writers can't wait to delve into her perspective, truly showing why her character fits in so well with this cast.

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12947518, Helen is cool as shit...
Posted by Creole, Tue Dec-22-15 10:10 PM
I actually felt bad for her.
12947698, the same Helen that spent the last 18 years shittin' on Noah's dreams?..
Posted by CyrenYoung, Wed Dec-23-15 10:14 AM
..she treated his writing career like novelty.

meanwhile, she was struggling to keep her store relevant, but hating on his potential for success at every turn. they were both struggling to find their own way, but he never discouraged her dreams. to top it all off, she used her parent's money as leverage.

Noah was a complete asshole at times, but Helen was far from innocent.

*skatin' the rings of saturn*

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12947753, she just started getting cool. Probably after the DUI
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 11:02 AM
12947632, I'm halfway thru season 2... need to find a free stream
Posted by legsdiamond, Wed Dec-23-15 09:46 AM
or maybe I will pony up 9.99 and binge over the holiday break since I'm off til the 4th
12947660, how did you watch it up til now?
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 09:58 AM
actually you may wanna avoid this post. I'm sure there's a few spoilers in here.
12947670, had a free 30 day trial when it started...
Posted by legsdiamond, Wed Dec-23-15 10:03 AM
then watched a few episodes at my MIL over thanksgiving break.

I have the Showtime app on Apple tv.

I have no idea what anyone's name is on this show. I call him McNolty and the last episode I watched was the cab ride home from the airport where the FIL said he was getting a divorce.

I read all the post and still have no idea who said what since I don't know their names.
12947750, lol yeah i call him mcnaulty too lol
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 11:00 AM
12947976, loved this season. had some issiues with the finale
Posted by Mynoriti, Wed Dec-23-15 01:54 PM
mainly too much forced coincidence. they kind of shoehorned reasons for EVERYONE to be at that wedding, then you get Noah, Helen, Scotty, and Alison all in the same place on a road, and hitting scotty just as he's about to sexually assault allison.. then happening to be right near Noah's buddy's house to hose off his car. it's a bit much.

that said, it didn't curb my enjoyment, and I really loved this season. i never thought they could do as much as they've done with this concept. really digging the added perspectives, and how they're mixing up the order to keep it fresh

that hottub scene was as cringeworthy as anything that's ever been on TV
12947980, ^^spot on with this^^

..and miles to go before i sleep...
12948020, i thought that as well as far as the coincidences but it explains so much
Posted by Cenario, Wed Dec-23-15 02:25 PM
that didn't necessarily make sense that i was okay with it.

I'm growing tired of the dual perspectives especially when they are so different. I be like, ok now what really happened.

lolz @ the hot tub scene. I knew who it was immeadiately.
